MY LIFE WHY HIJAB

Diposting oleh Unknown di 09.19 0 komentar
Sometimes it's easy to say what people must to do rather than do it by yourself. When you had realize the reality that you have to face it or it's depend on you to do what you want to do.I never realize that i had the point in my life that will make the change on me. For long time a go i was waiting something happen to me or an angel fall from heaven to solve my problem. It's take a long time, consideration and effort to pursue myself to do what i really want to do.

It's start by wearing hijab or veil, scraf ... whatever you want to say as long as it's cover your boobs. It's happen so fast when my lecturer (Mr. Zainal) said to me that something that you choose will be take responsibilities in the final judgement. Ya, i know that, but i never really meant it. It's only in my mind but never be in my action. I was using mini clothes as hot pants and shirt for my wrestling outfit (i always use one piece inside them) and it's always make me uncomfortable. It's because deep in my heart i know that the boys always staring at me all the time, and it's not good for me. Like when your teacher watching over you in the final examination and ridiculously seems to pop up their eyes at you.

That was long and hard night when i was in my final decision that i need to do it. Since i really don't know when there is the time for me to use it. We could be die before we can actually use it and ask forgive to Allah Swt alla. It's really important to me cause the whole world the one that can make me believe something and ask something is the one and only Allah Swt alla. and i was decide it. I wearing hijab.

It's something that i really want to do since my second grade of high school. But the Satan always whispering me to not to do that. I really want to do it after finish high school but i never had courage. It's always be in the list of to do year in my wish list new year. But finally, it happen.

I was wearing hijab right now and so do some of the muslim wrestler in Indonesia. Somehow deep in their wrestler girl heart they want to do it. I know.

West Kalimantan is diversity of 3 multi - cultural ethnic in Indonesia. Pontianak and Singkawang is the city of West Kalimantan. Pontianak is my born city. The sun is streaming and the ice tea is the most scene that you will see in my born-land. The most important thing that you should wear in my place to make you comfortable is may be umbrella.

I have the story with it when my lecturer from Alabama, America teaching us english in University of Tanjungpura he is the first foreigner i ever see and talk in my life. He is the man who always wear hat and borrow water in his hand. He is fond with my city but his mostly spend his time when he's not teaching in the mall because he can't stand with the sun. If you like to visit the sun city that you should visit my province to see about the east Asia culture mix with the Indonesia.

The most crazy thing that you will see is no matter the weather condition is the local people will always choose to drink ice tea and eat the snack such as Bakwan. This half round is fry cake consists of flour, beans sprouts, chives and dried shrimps. They are mix together and fry until golden brown. I LOVE IT ! The spicy souce is the reason why ice tea more preferably to drink to cope the thirsty from hot weather and bawan.
This is the experience that you will see if you are visitng West Kalimantan!
:) see u my land. Contact me if u r here!

Teaching Learning with ICT

I find out that in the way of my journey to learning english passive ways. I always wait for the teacher to speak with my hand hold the pen, ready to write everything that lecturer or teacher said and it's been 14 years of my live long education. I admit that i was technology phobia. I barely refuse to use or spend my money to buy gadget that only waste for fun. But when i was enter to this class i was force to learn to use technology to teach english.

This is hard thing for me because of the lack knowledge of technology. But at the end of it's i found out that is the alternative ways to teach english rather than traditional ways. English as second language acquisition is the ways to students learn language rather than the national or mother tongue. The use of english should be using alternative ways to made the students interest and fond of it.

The English word mostly infused to the daily conversation in indonesia that make them can get easily understand it. But the problem is the ways of them to talk, write and interact in english is only in the introduction. They only learn english it's because of the habits or the media that they always use in technologies.

For more english could be learn easily by any media, handphone, interactive llearning cartoon or internet. They way english spread all over the world is with the media electronic and the media can be the ways to make the people learn english.

UAN : English Subject

Diposting oleh Unknown di 23.34 0 komentar

I am Indonesian students who had the experience to do Ujian Akhir Nasional or for short UAN. That is the scariest moment in my education live that is had to feel in 1 years experience of studying under extreme pressure. That 's because of the UAN is determine the result of Indonesia students. The big pressure for most of Indonesia students is English subject.

WHY? Let me explain it! Indonesian students is using Bahasa Indonesia as their Second Language. Why did i wrote that ?  It's because of most of Indonesia students is using their local language to their daily conversation. For your Information according to Wikipedia Indonesia peoples is consist of 2000 ethnic group. Bahasa Indonesia is using to unite the Indonesia peoples. That is why English hard to be input in Indonesia Language cause of the multi diverse language that peoples need to be learn at the same time.

Then English isn’t second-language acquisition for Indonesia students in the matter of fact first : Mother Tounge (Local language such as : Malay, Dayakness, Madura, and et c), second : Bahasa Indonesia,  and third the another language that is need to be learn such as English. Second Language Acquisition  or second-language learning is the process by which people learn a second language. Second-language acquisition (often abbreviated to SLA) also refers to the scientific discipline devoted to studying that process. Second language refers to any language learned in addition to a person's first language; although the concept is named second-language acquisition, it can also incorporate the learning of third, fourth, or subsequent languages.[1] Second-language acquisition refers to what learners do; it does not refer to practices in language teaching(Wikipedia).

Learning is the process of study that is need to do step by step. If someone is learning something by skiping one part of it’s that should be damage for them. Because of it’s could be the matter of the missleading of thier learning or missunderstood of the learning that could be impact to the result of study. If somenone for example of Indonesia student who doesn’t have the the basic level of english in elemantary school and sudenlly learn english in Junior High School may be have problem in their language learning process and this condition happened to me me!

In my opinion, if English is putting into UAN subject that is should be add in the elementary school.  What! According to Indonesia Education System (if you are Indonesian you should look at this site http://moshimoshi.netne.net/materi/ilmu_pendidikan/bab_8.htm) English is extracurricular subject that can be add depend to the school selection of subejct that will be add to each semester. Most of Elementary  (in Indonesia is called Sekolah Dasar or SD) doesn't add English in their subject at school. Its affecting the ways of students to learn English. Cause's if they are entering Junior High School, their should be learn English from the level of elementary school.

Eventually some of the Elementary school in Indonesia  have had English as their material subject. But, What happen to the student who doesn't have the English subject in Elementary school. They must be have problems to learn English and begin from Elementary school level as they are entering the Junior High School. This is condition must be effecting to the way of learning student therefore result of study ( UAN).

English must be put as main subject in Elementary school with the others subject. So the students can be learn it in the appropriate level and didn't have the problem to learn it in the basic level.

SILENT WAYS

The Silent Way is a language-teaching method created by Caleb Gattegno that makes extensive use of silence as a teaching technique. It is not usually considered a mainstream method in language education.[1] It was first introduced in Gattegno's book Teaching Foreign Languages in Schools: The Silent Way in 1963.[2]  (sources:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Silent_Way).

Silent ways is one of teaching method that encourage the student take active role in learning language. The use of this method usually used by the elementary or pre-school. Most of the use of this method is to elementary student to introduce vocabularies to the learners.

For example:  The first elementary school learns about colors. The teacher is using the picture of rainbow and the colors who explain in the rainbow. Then the students spells the words or colors that the teacher pointing on. The teacher give the instruction to the student if the students wrong to answer the question that she will repeatedly pointing the word or colors.

This activity suitable as the pre-activity in teaching learning process. It’s attract the students to focus to the lesson. The focus of this silent ways methods is to encourage the student learn about the language different ways.

A Story about ME

I am English Teaching Program student in Universitas Tanjungpura. I am in love in English at the Junior High School. At the beginning of the English class i always got into punishment. Because i don't know anything about English. But, luckily at the middle of semester my teacher rotate the chair and made me sit with the smartest students in English. She is Rahmadita Mega Nurleysa, she is my friend who taught me about English. Since at the semester i am falling in love with English.

At the elementary i retarded child (that one of my friend call me). I couldn't read and write. It's the hardest time for me because all of my friend in the class can write and read. My mother was working hard to made me feel like the other children. She taught me at home and i had a private teacher who teach me at the school(when the break time (and i can't eat until i finish the task that she gave me)), when i went home, and when i went to my friends home the same teacher  private who teach me push me to learn with my friends.

Finally, i can read at the 3rd grade in Elementary schools. But i can't differentiate the word "b" and "d". My parent is thinking the others way to explain it the differentiate of it to me. My parents said "d" and pointing to the person who had a distend stomach and "d"  with someone who had a big butt. Sometimes my parents said "b" and than made a hand gesture in front of their body to explain the word "b" to me. Then They said "d" and pointing to their butt.

Now, at that the time of my study in English Teaching Program in Universitas Tanjungpura  i realize the method that my parent was using to me at the Elementary school is called TPR. TPR means Total Physical Response. It is an approach to teaching language based on the idea that if you have to do something physical in response to language, then learning is more meaningful, and you learn faster.

From the my story that i had told to you that my parents i couldn't find anymore ways to explain the word "b" and "d" to me. So they used the physical body to explain the differences to me. It's the smartest ways to teach child like me. Because of many of students who may be had a problem with read and writing like me at the time. But they are to afraid to tell their parents. I had watch the movie who had a similar story with my live (but in my life story my parents wasn't cruel with me and didn't send me to private school and find the ways to teach me with affection ). The title is  Taare Zameen Par.

Here is the link for trailer

TPR is a good ways to teach students especially for Elementary school.  It is based on the coordination of language and physical movement. In TPR, instructors give commands to students in the target language, and students respond with whole-body actions. In the process of teaching learning listening serves a dual purpose; it is both a means of understanding messages in the language being learned, and a means of learning the structure of the language itself.

For example : A teacher in the class is teaching first grade of a students in Elementary school. She is teaching about part of body. When the lesson starts she ask her students to follow her move and says. Then she is touching her nose and said "touch your nose" and the students follow it.The next is teacher is do it to the another part of body as in explain that i found in the Youtube.

Total physical response is often used alongside other methods and techniques. It is popular with beginners and with young learners, although it can be used with students of all levels and all age groups.

SPECIAL THANKS TO  : 1. ALLAH SWT ALLA to make me the person i am today
                 2. TO MY BELOVED PARENTS who TEACH, LOVE and GUIDE me to                                            to the  RIGHT WAY
                           3. TO MY BELOVED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL who teach me with all her love                                          LOVE, PATIENT and AFFECTION bu MARIA TJDONG

That is all from me for to day ! See u next post !!! :D
