mean Gift, Wealth or Fortune. Bafadal is my fathers family name since he have descent Arabic ties from my grandfather.

am awkward,
nervous, giggling person, happy mind and perfectionist. Yeah, if you
meet me for the first time, you might think that i am snob and arrogant.

My
mom have different background of ethnic my grandmother is come from
Banten and moving out with her family to West Kalimantan. She is tough
mom. She is rise 7 children by her own since my grandfather die. She is
kind and gentle lady. But she is always working and cleaning house to
make everything going organize. She never look angry to me. But
sometimes she is speaking with different language that i can't
understand (When i grow up i realize that is Sundanese, when people talk
Sundanese i will understand some meaning in it). I love her so much but
i don't understand why she is leaving us when i was kid. I looking to
her stone cold body to take the picture memorize all day of my life. May
Grandfather sailor. He coming Gorontalo and marry with grandmother. So
My Mum is Tough and Independent women who have big heart.
My
father have different background
too. He come from Jambi, a province who had rich coal industries. He is
tall and handsome. Most of my family have my father look neither do i
(for most of the people said that i had my mother look). My Grandfather
is come from Jambi. He is imam back in there. In the old times when he
was alive i used to wait her recite Al Quran in the radio every ramadhan
waiting to open my fasting. He is taking a long Surah and recite it
until the open fasting time. My Grandmother is coming from South
Sumatra, Palembang. She is excellent cook. I never taste a good food in
my life and that i had experience in my father hometown with my
grandmother food. She hate modern cooking device that make her always
ask her child to turn the stove on or grind the dry chili with her hand(
i ever try this one but the result is my hand is feeling burn all long
day) whether you believe it or not it's taste really good (since then i
always grind my spice with my ulekan)!
So,
do you might think that what should you call me? Sumatra, Bantenese,
Gorontalonesse ... ? Well, since i born in Pontianak that make me
Pontianakers! I love Pontianak since i can remember. As the homeland
this is the place to miss me each time i went to the other place.
